G. H. Pember

1836–1910

George Hawkins Pember (1836-1910) was an English Plymouth Brethren theologian best known for "Earth's Earliest Ages," a wide-ranging study of Genesis cosmology, the Nephilim, and fallen angels. His later work extended this framework to contemporary movements, arguing that Theosophy and Buddhism represented a demonically-inspired deception tied to the biblical end times.
